CONTACT LENS CARE & HANDLING
Handling – Always wash and dry your hands with a lint-free towel before touching your lenses. Avoid soaps with creams or oils. Use your fingertips, not nails, and keep nails short and smooth. Consistently follow these steps for proper lens care.
Cleaning
Apply 3 drops of multi-purpose solution to each lens and gently rub for 20 seconds.
Rinse thoroughly for 5 seconds with the same solution.
Store lenses in a case with fresh solution and soak for at least 4 hours. Always use fresh solution and discard after each use.
Storing Lenses – If not wearing lenses immediately, store them in a closed lens case with multi-purpose solution (not saline). You can store them up to 5 days, but clean and disinfect before wearing again after longer storage.
CONTACT LENS CARE ROUTINE
Wash, rinse, and dry your hands before handling lenses.
Use fresh, unexpired lens care solutions and follow instructions carefully. Never mix solutions unless stated on the label.
Clean, rinse, and disinfect your lenses as prescribed by your eye care professional.
Never use saliva, or other substances like tap water, for cleaning or lubricating lenses.
STEPS FOR PROPER LENS CARE
Clean one lens at a time (start with the same lens each time), rinse, and disinfect following instructions.
Store lenses in a disinfected case until use.
After removing lenses, clean and dry the lens case using the recommended solution. Replace the case regularly.
LENS CARE CASE
Clean and dry your lens case after each use. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions and replace the case regularly to avoid bacterial growth.
ADVERSE REACTIONS
Ask yourself these three questions each time you wear your lenses:
Do my eyes feel good? (No discomfort)
Do my eyes look good? (No redness)
Can I see clearly? (No unusual blurring)
If the answer is “no” to any of these, remove the lenses and contact your eye care professional. If you experience stinging, burning, discomfort, blurred vision, or other issues, immediately remove your lenses, clean them, and consult your professional if the problem persists.
REGULAR CHECK-UPS
Follow up with your eye care professional as recommended to ensure the health and safety of your eyes.
